First Launch¶

What Starts When You Launch vrOS¶

• vros-launcher.exe starts vros_core.dll and sets up VROS_ASSETS_DIR.
• The runtime ensures the Director is running (vrOS-catnet.exe), then starts core services (including vros-catnet-desktop.exe).

Open The Desktop Control Center¶

• Right-click the vrOS Director tray icon → Open Desktop
• Or double-click the tray icon

Open The vrOS Dashboard In VR¶

The vrOS Dashboard is a SteamVR dashboard overlay (vros-catnet-dashboard). To open it:

1. Open the SteamVR Dashboard (system menu in VR).
2. Look for vrOS Dashboard in the dashboard overlay list.
