  • Steam Account Information: When you use vrOS through Steam, we access your Steam display name and Steam ID for overlay ownership and cloud save functionality
  • Settings and Preferences: Your vrOS configuration settings, overlay layouts, and preferences

  • Usage Data:
    • Overlay creation and usage patterns (anonymous)

International Users​

vrOS is operated from the United States. If you use vrOS from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Telemetry Opt-Out​

To disable telemetry:

  1. Open vrOS Dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy
  3. Toggle "Send usage data" to OFF

Note: Disabling telemetry may prevent us from diagnosing issues with your installation.

  • Legitimate Interests: Improving vrOS and ensuring security
  • Consent: For optional features and communications
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law
